Every human has an inbuilt mental strength. But we don’t know how to use it. Most people spend a lot of time in the gym, building their physical strength and physical health. But, sadly not much time is devoted to mental strength and mental health.

If you want to reach your greatest potential, then it is necessary to build mental strength. Today, we see a number of people committing suicide and giving up in life. The reason being, these people have very low mental strength.

In her TEDx talk, Amy describes her personal experiences where she had to stay mentally strong and face the situations bravely. She also went on to share her real-life examples where being mentally strong worked for her.

Amy states three kinds of destructive beliefs that make us less effective and rob us of our mental strength.

  • Unhealthy beliefs about ourselves
  • Unhealthy beliefs about others.
  • Unhealthy beliefs about the world
