I belong to a small town in Rajasthan in a conservative family. Both of my Parents are educators & education is a top priority in our family. Keeping this up, I was sent to boarding school at the age of 9. I have learned to become independent & opinionated through my stay in boarding school.
I speak, stand up & strive for what I believe in. I have learned to not take things for granted.
If you know, the boarding school kids get to learn the value & importance of many things in life. One of the most important things I learned early in my life empathy & it helps in understanding many others viewpoints.
After graduating from one of the most prestigious B-Schools of India – IIM Lucknow, I took a sabbatical for 6 months. I travelled a lot to different parts of the country, during that time I realized that being fearless is the way of life.
My interest in entrepreneurship was increasing day by day, I decided to take a leap of faith and start own business.
I embarked on an uncertain journey of entrepreneurship with ‘Weekend Thrill’. Weekend Thrill is a marketplace for all the weekend junkies who have trouble finding things & activities to do over a weekend. We have an average engagement of 200,000 people per week with organic reach up to 400,000 per week.
I dream of building a sustainable business which creates value for all stakeholders. There is a lot of challenges in day to day life but waking up every day to make my dream come true keeps me going in life.
Persist for your dreams, nothing comes easy. Believe that you can do it. Life is too precious. Don’t waste it in doing a thing you don’t love.
