Inspiration: Dr. Mamta proved that you can achieve your goals at any age!

30 January 2017

I was working as an assistant professor of chemistry in a private degree college and was living in my comfort zone. Simultaneously I was attached to a group voice for blinds and doing a recording of study material for blind students. I observed that there are a lot of ways by which we can help others. I decided to actively contribute to society and wanted to be a civil servant.

At the age of 35, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and started preparing for the competitive exam. I never took any competitive exam before. In 2012, I took MPPSC exam. I cleared the preliminary exam, but couldn’t qualify for mains, however, in MPPSC 2013; I cleared preliminary, mains and interview. Now I am posted as a women empowerment officer at Sehore district Madhya Pradesh.

I just want to tell all ladies that age is no bar for your dreams. You can convert them into reality at any phase of your life with determination.

I am a mother of two daughters, 13 and 9 years old and living in a joint family. During my job in a private college, I managed all the things.

My dear friends if I can manage it all, then why not you.
